    Cherry Fudge Cake


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix with pudding
    • 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
    • Glaze:
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1/3 cup butter
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl until blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
      Bake at 350o 25-30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.

    2. Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
    3. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until melted. Pour over cake and let stand until set.
