Cherry Fudge Cake
List of Ingredients
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix with pudding
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract
- Glaze:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
Instructions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a bowl until blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
Bake at 350o 25-30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
- Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
- Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until melted. Pour over cake and let stand until set.
