    Grilled Marinated Flank Steak

    "The Taste of Summer, Inspired Recipes for Casual Entertaining" by Diane Rossen Worthington


    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 cup red wine
    • 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
    • 1 teaspoon orange zest
    • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
    • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder (optional)
    • 1 (2-pound) flank steak


    Instructions


    1. Combine all ingredients except flank steak in a medium mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. Taste for seasoning.
    2. Flatten out the flanksteak in a large, shallow, non-aluminum dish or large plastic bag. Pour the marinade over and marinate 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

    3. Prepare the grill for medium-heat grilling. Remove steak from marinade and grill 3 inches from the flame, 5 to 7 minutes per side for medium-rare.
    4. Olace on a carving platter and slice thinly against the grain. Serve immediately.

      Serves 4 to 6
