Chili-Rub Chicken

List of Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 2 teaspoons ground sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 3 pounds chicken pieces or boneless skinless chicken breasts
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except chicken; mix well. Rub chicken pieces well with mixture and place in zip-top bag or in a bowl. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
- When ready to cook, prepare grill using indirect medium heat. Grill chicken with lid closed, turning after 15 minutes. Cook until juices run clear, about 15 more minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
