Red-Hot Sesame Dressing

List of Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon chili puree with garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped scallions
Instructions
- Heat a small dry skillet over low heat. Add sesame seeds and stir constantly until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.
- Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, sugar and chili puree in another small bowl until sugar dissolves. Stir in scallions and sesame seeds.
- Yield: 3/4 cup
