    Red-Hot Sesame Dressing

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds
    • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
    • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
    • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon chili puree with garlic
    • 1/4 cup chopped scallions


    Instructions


    1. Heat a small dry skillet over low heat. Add sesame seeds and stir constantly until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl and let cool.

    2. Whisk soy sauce, vinegar, oil, garlic, sugar and chili puree in another small bowl until sugar dissolves. Stir in scallions and sesame seeds.

    3. Yield: 3/4 cup
