    Pinata Pumpkin Chili

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 pounds Ground beef
    • 1/2 cup Onion -- chopped
    • 1 Garlic clove -- minced
    • 16 ounce Solid pack pumpkin
    • 2 cups Water
    • 1 package Taco seasoning
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons Chili powder
    • 1 teaspoon Salt
    • 1 cup Cheddar cheese -- shredded
    • 1 cup Corn chips -- crushed
    • 1/2 cup Sour cream
    • 1 Red pepper flakes or 1 Hot pepper sauce


    Instructions


    1. In 3 quart saucepan, cook meat, onion and garlic until meat is brown. Drain. Add pumpkin, water, taco seasoning, chili powder and salt. Bring to a boil. Cover; simmer 30 minutes. Season with red pepper flakes or hot pepper sauce. Garnish with cheese, corn chips and sour cream.

    2. NOTE: May add 16 ounces red kidney beans; drained.

    3. Yield: 6
