    Brussels Sprouts with Mustard Sauce

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoons Asian sesame oil
    • 1 pounds sprouts
    • 1 tablespoon canola oil
    • 1/2 cup thinly sliced green onion


    Instructions


    1. To make sauce, combine first 3 ingredients in a small bowl, and set aside. Use the X method on the sprouts as described in first recipe.
    2. Place sprouts in a veggie steamer or use whatever method you choose to steam veggies, and let them steam for about 15 minutes or until fork tender. Add water during the process if needed. Drain well.
    3. Place large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute. Add canola oil and swirl pan to coat bottom evenly. Add green onion and stir fry 2 minutes, then add sprouts and stir fry 1-2 minutes. Spoon mustard sauce over sprouts and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
