    Stir Fry Bok Choy


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
    • 1 pound bok choy, rinsed and cut in slices
    • 1/4 cup sliced onion or green onion
    • 2 teaspoons peanut oil
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons black bean garlic paste
    • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
    • 1/4 cup chicken broth
    • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
    • 2 teaspoons cornstarch


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and stir-fry until they begin to give up their juices, about 3 minutes. Add the bok choy and onion and continue to stir-fry 2 minutes. Mix all the remaining ingredients together and add to the skillet. Stir until thickened and vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.
