Stir Fry Bok Choy
List of Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced mushrooms
- 1 pound bok choy, rinsed and cut in slices
- 1/4 cup sliced onion or green onion
- 2 teaspoons peanut oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons black bean garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Instructions
- Heat oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and stir-fry until they begin to give up their juices, about 3 minutes. Add the bok choy and onion and continue to stir-fry 2 minutes. Mix all the remaining ingredients together and add to the skillet. Stir until thickened and vegetables are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes.
