Chocolate Covered Cherries

List of Ingredients
1 box powdered sugar
4 T. butter
pinch of salt
1 t. vanilla
4 T. sweetened condensed milk
1 bottle maraschino cherries with stems
Candy dipping chocolate (I buy the Ghirardelli block at Sam's)
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar together, adding milk in small amounts. Add salt and vanilla. Drain cherries and roll cherries in cream mixture to cover each cherry well. Dip the cream covered cherries in the melted chocolate one at a time and set on waxed paper to cool. Cover tightly to store (like there'll be any left to store).
If you want, you can add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts to leftover cream mixture, form that into balls and dip in the chocolate as well. Waste not, want not, I guess.
