Teriyaki Roast Chicken

List of Ingredients
1 3-pound whole chicken
1 small onion, quartered
1/3 c low-sodium teriyaki sauce
1 tsp garlic-pepper seasoning

Preheat oven to 375 deg. Remove giblets from chicken. Rinse and drain chicken; pat dry. Place onion in cavity of chicken. Brush chicken on all sides with some of the teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle with garlic-pepper seasoning. Place chicken breast side up, on roasting rack coated with cooking spray (If you have a meat thermometer, insert into meaty part of thigh, making sure it does not touch the bone.) Pour remaining teriyaki sauce over chicken. Bake uncovered at 375 deg for 1 ½ hours or until meat thermometer registers 180 deg. Remove skin before serving.
