    Doris's Orange Pecans

    List of Ingredients




    1 orange
    1 cup sugar
    2 cups pecan halves
    wax paper

    Recipe



    Scrape zest (rind) from orange.

    Juice orange and mix with zest and sugar

    Bring to a boil over meduim heat, stirring constantly.

    Add pecans and continue boiling over fairly high heat, stirring vigorously until most of the juice has been absorbed ( about 5 minutes)

    Spread quickly on wax paper to cool, separating pecans with a fork.
