    Stuffed Mushrooms

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound large mushrooms
    1 pound bulk sausage
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 eggs
    1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    3/4 cup italian-style bread crumbs
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

    Recipe



    Wash mushrooms and pat dry.
    Stem mushrooms and hollow caps slightly with spoon.
    Chop stems.

    Brown sausage and stems in a heavy skillet.
    Drain well.
    Remove from heat and cool.

    Add salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    Beat the eggs and parmesan cheese together and add to sausage mixture along with bread crumbs.

    Mix well.

    Pour oil into a 13x9x2 baking dish and tilt to coat well.
    Dip the outside of the mushroom caps in the oil and turn to coat.
    Stuff with sausage mixture and place sidde by side in baking dish.

    Sprinkle with mozzarella

    Bake at 375* for 20 minutes.

    Serve hot.
