    Black Forest Pie

    List of Ingredients




    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 cup margarine
    1/3 cup milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 (9-ounce) container Cool Whip
    1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened chocolate, coarsely grated

    Recipe



    In saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa, and flour;
    add margarine and milk.
    Cook until mixture begins to boil, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.

    Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs; return mixture to pan.

    Fold half the can of pie filling into mixture.
    Pour into crust-lined pan.

    Bake at 350* for 35-45 minutes or until center is set but still shiny.
    Cool.
    Chill for one hour.

    Combine 2 cups Cool Whip and grated chocolate; spread over pie.
    Spread remaining pie filling around edges of pie.
    Cool
