    Blue Ribbon Sour Cream Raisin Pie

    List of Ingredients




    1 whole egg, plus 3 egg yolks
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 cup sour cream
    1 cup raisins
    1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell


    Meringue:
    3 egg whites
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Beat egg and yolks until fluffy;
    add sugar, salt and spices.
    Continue beating, while adding sour cream.
    Beat well.
    Stir in raisins;
    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 450* for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350*; bake 30 minutes more.

    Prepare meringur and spread over hot pie, being sure to seal edges.
    Bake at 450* for 10-12 minutes until golden.
