    EASY TACO BAKE

    I was looking for something different from taco salad when I found this recipe. We all love it and my guests requested the recipe. This recipe might need to be doubled if your crowd likes this type of food. :)


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound ground beef
    • 8 ounce package of cheddar cheese
    • 15 ounce can of whole kernel corn
    • 16 ounce can of tomato sauce
    • 1 package taco seasoning mix
    • 1 box Jiffy corn bread mix
    • 8 ounce carton of sour cream (optional) OR green onion dip
    • 1 jar of taco sauce (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef in skillet and drain.
    2. Add taco seasoning and stir.
    3. Add corn, tomato sauce and cheese.
    4. In a separate bowl, mix corn bread according to package directions on the box.
    5. Put the beef mixture into a casserole dish, pour corn bread mixture over the top.
    6. Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until corn bread has browned.
    7. Top with sour cream OR green onion dip and taco sauce (optional).
