    Bisquits

    Simple Bisquits to make from your Basic Mix..for richer Bisquits use buttermilk instead of water

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups Basic "Bisquick" Homemade mix
    1/2 cup water (or buttermilk for richer bisquits)

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees..Combine ingredients to form dough. Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut into desired shapes..You can use a glass or cookie cutters to make any shape you would like..as well as standard bisquit cutter. Melt 1 teaspoon butter flavored shortening in 10 inch cast iron skillet...or heavy baking pan. Place bisquits in pan dipping in melted oil on each side and arrange in pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes..Makes 12 to 14 Bisquits.
