Melt Butter or Margarine slowly over low heat until it bubbles. Let simmer 5 minutes. Pour into steralized jarsleaving 1/8 inch headspace. Seal jars. When jars have cooled..Place in refrigerator and turn several times until butter hardens. Butter should keep for 2 years.
