2 (15-ounce) cans pitted black olives
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 to 2 teaspoons paprika (to taste)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 large cloves garlic, chopped
1 to 1 1/2 cups salad oil
Drain olives, reserving about 2/3 of the liquid. Put reserved olive liquid in a quart jar and add vinegar, seasonings, olives and enough oil to cover. Marinate overnight, turning or shaking jar several times. Makes about 4 cups.
