1/2 cup margarine
1 package (18 ounces) chopped dates
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
Powdered sugar
In a large saucepan, combine margarine, dates, nuts, sugar and salt. Cook over low heat for 8 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla and Rice Krispies. Shape into finger-sized balls. Roll in powdered sugar.
