    Nut Bars

    List of Ingredients






    12 oz. chocolate chips
    12 oz. butterscotch chips
    1 square unsweetened chocolate
    2 C. creamy peanut butter

    Melt these first 4 ingredients either in the microwave or on the stove on low heat so as not to burn them. Pour 1/2 of melted stuff in jelly roll pan, then freeze or chill it while you make the filling.

    Filling for Nut Goodie Bars
    2 sticks butter
    1/4 C. dry vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
    1/2 C. evaporated milk

    Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly, then add 1 tsp. maple flavoring and 2 lbs powdered sugar and mix it all up. Spread the filling on chocolate layer and freeze. To second half of chocolate mixture add 1 lb. Spanish red peanuts, then pour over the first two chilled layers and chill again. Cut into bars.
