    This easy toffee recipe uses club or saltine crackers, chocolate chips, butter, brown sugar and pecans to make a easy Texas Toffee. You can have delicious toffee ready to eat in about 15 minutes.

    List of Ingredients






    INGREDIENTS:
    Club or Saltine crackers
    1 1/4 C. butter
    1 1/4 C. brown sugar
    12 oz. milk chocolate chips
    1 C. finely chopped pecans (optional)

    PREPARATION:
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan with foil. Place crackers side by side to cover the foil, set aside. Bring butter and sugar to a boil over medium high heat. Boil for 5 minutes stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and pour over crackers, spread to cover.
    Place in oven and bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips, spreading to cover evenly as chips melt. Sprinkle with pecans. Cool and break into pieces
