    10-12 servings

    3-pound chicken

    1 cup onion, chopped

    1 cup celery, chopped

    ½ cup bell pepper, chopped

    16 ounces spaghetti

    2 cans cream of mushroom soup

    1 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated

    Tabasco, garlic powder, kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

    • Place chicken in an 8-quart stock pot. Cover with water, season as desired and cook until tender.

    • Remove chicken from pot, reserving broth. Remove meat from bones.

    • Cook vegetables and spices (season to taste) in the chicken broth for 20 minutes.

    • Add spaghetti and cook for 10 minutes longer.

    • Add cooked chicken and soup.

    • Layer the mixture in a 13-by-9 casserole dish with cheese, topping with cheese.

    • Bake at 350 for approximately 1 hour.
