CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 - 1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup rice crispies
1 cup quick oats
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt onto a sheet of wax paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat butter, margarine, sugars, egg, milk and vanilla until blended.
Stir in the flour mixture alternating with oil until thoroughly mixed.
Stir in cereal, oats and chocolate chips.
Roll dough by teaspoonfuls into balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Yields 5 dozen.
