1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (6-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
Additional sugar for sprinkling cookies
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, combine sugar, margarine, shortening and eggs; beat well.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Reserve 3 tablespoons lemonade concentrate. Alternately add dry ingredients and lemonade concentrate to sugar mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Drop by teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Remove from cookie sheets.
Brush cookies with reserved lemonade concentrate; sprinkle lightly with sugar. Cool.
