BBQ Venison Meatballs
List of Ingredients
3lbs venison hamburger
1lb sausage ground
Mix together with:
2 eggs
Sleeve of ritz crackers crushed
Make meatballs and fry in skillet in corn oil.
For the sauce: 3 bottles of Open Pit or any thin BBQ sauce
Pour in bowl.
Add in 11/2 cups maple syrup (the real stuff works great)
3/4 of a crouet of Italian dressing (not creamy reg. italian )
3 cups of apple cider (hard cider works well too)
2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
Juice from 1/2 of an orange
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
1/2 a teaspoon of tabasco for taste
Recipe
Make the meatballs and the sauce. Pour sauce over meatballs and let sit overnight in the refrigerator to marinate. Put everything in crock pot (sauce and meatballs)and put on low for 2 to 3 hrs until hot. Serve with noodles or rice or just as they are.
