    Crockpot Peach Cobbler

    1/2 cup butter -- melted
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    3/4 cup milk
    2 cups sliced peaches -- fresh or canned peaches, your preference
    1 cup sugar

    Pour melted butter into crockpot and swirl around to coat bottom and sides. In bowl, combine 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and milk; beat on high with electric mixer. Pour flour mixture into crockpot. Don't stir. Next, spoon peaches on top of flour mixture, then sprinkle with remaining sugar. Cover with a clean terry cloth kitchen towel and set lid over towel. (Towel will help absorb moisture during cooking process). Cook on low for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.

    Serves 6.
