SLOW COOKED PEPPER STEAK
List of Ingredients
1 1/2 to 2 lbs steak strips
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger
16 oz. can of chopped tomatoes, undrained
2 large green bell peppers, sliced
1/2 c. cold water
1 T. cornstarch
Recipe
Brown strips (if desired, I often just put the strips in frozen) Put strips in crockpot. Combine next 7 ingredients and pour over beef. Cook on low 5-6 hours. Add tomatoes and peppers. Cook for one more hour. Combine water and cornstarch; stir into crockpot and cook on high until thickened. (about 15 min.) Serve over rice
