Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes
List of Ingredients
1 package chocolate cake mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1 egg
1 cup chocolate chips
To make cupcakes: Mix chocolate cake mix according to package directions. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, salt, egg and chocolate chips. Set aside.
To bake cupcakes: Prepare greased or paper lined muffin cups. Fill half full with cake batter. Top each with a heaping teaspoonful of cream cheese mixture in center.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
These are great for care packages. Since they don't need any frosting, they don't end up hard as rocks
