    Cajun Banana Nut Ice Cream

    List of Ingredients




    7 eggs
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1-1/2 cups sugar
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    1/2 cup light Karo syrup
    1 cup pecan pieces
    1 pint whipping cream
    2 Tablespoons vanilla

    Recipe



    Beat egg yolks and whites separately. Yolks should look white. Whites should be very stiff. Add half of sugar to yolks and beat. Add half of sugar to whites and beat. Combine egg mixtures. Add Karo syrup, whipping cream, salt and vanilla. Pour into freezer. Add milk to fill freezer. Start machine, when mixture starts to freeze, add bananas and nuts. Finish freezing. Let set one hour.
