    Banana Butter

    List of Ingredients







    3C (Abut 10 med.) bananas
    1/4C lemon juice
    1/4C finely chopped maraschino cherries
    6 1/2C sugar
    6 oz LIQUID Pectin

    Thoroughly mash bananas. Measure 3C into a sauce pan. Add lemon juice, cherries & sugar, mix well. Bring to a hard boil; boil hard 1 min, stirring constantly. remove from heat; quickly stir in pectin. Ladle into clean hot jars. Seal. Makes about 8 jars.
