    Homemade Summer Sausage



    3/4 cup water
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/4 reaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    2 tablespoons Morton's Tender Quick Salt
    1 tablespoon mustard seed
    2 teaspoons liquid smoke

    Mix all ingredients well together.Form into 2 rolls, and wrap in
    foil. Refrigerate for 24 hours. With a fork, poke holes in bottom of
    each roll. Place rolls on a rack over a cake pan to catch any liquid
    that drips during baking.Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
