Morning Cinnamon Rolls
List of Ingredients
1 pkg. Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls (regular or lowfat)
4 tbs. butter or margarine
8 tbs. granulated sugar
4 tbs. ground cinnamon
1 small pkg. crushed pecans
Unroll dough into four rectangles. (Do not tear apart as when making regular crescent rolls.)
Spread 1 tablespoon butter or margarine on each rectangle.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar on each rectangle, followed by 1-tablespoon cinnamon on each. Add pecans.
Roll into small logs and put in refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove and slice into pinwheels, each 1/4-inch thick.
Place on ungreased baking sheet, tucking pinwheel end under roll to prevent its unraveling.
Bake according to dinner roll package directions.
Remove from oven and glaze with any powdered-sugar glaze while rolls are still warm. Serves 4 to 6.
