This dressing is great on a salad as well as can be used as a marinade for grilled chicken.
List of Ingredients
1/2 c balsamic vinegar
1/2 c Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
2 c olive oil
Recipe
Place vinegar, mustard, pepper, salt, garlic, oregano and basil in a large mixing bowl and whisk together. As you continue whisking, drizzle olive oil into the vinegar mixture in a slow steady stream. Start slowly, then increase the speed very gradually to obtain a smooth emulsion. Vinaigrette can be refrigerated until ready to use. If the dressing seperates, bring it back to room temp and whisk. Makes 2 1/1 cups.
