Remoulade Sauce
List of Ingredients
1/4 cup Zatarains Creole Mustard
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Tabasco Brand Pepper Sauce
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup fine chopped green onions
1/2 cup fine chopped celery
1/2 cup fine chopped parsley
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Recipe
1. In a blender or medium bowl, mix all ingredients except the onions, celery, parsley and olive oil.
2. Next, add the oil in a slow steady stream while blending the sauce together — the sauce will come together like mayonnaise.
3. Add the remaining ingredients.
4. Stir well and chill
NOTE: You can use Remoulade sauce as a dressing for a Shirmp Po-Boy or Shrimp Sandwich. This sauce is also great to use instead of mayoin Chicken Salad or Tuna Salad. It is very traditional to use as a salad dressing over freshly boiled and peeled shrimp on a bed of shredded lettuce
