1 large bagel from the bakery
1/2 stick good margarine
1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
1/2 to 1 tsp. garlic powder
Slice bagel very thin with serrated knife. Cut whole slices in half. Line a jellyroll pan with foil. Place slices of bagel on foil. Melt margarine; add garlic powder and lemon pepper. Stir well and with pastry brush, brush slices of bagel with margarine mixture. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn oven off, let bagel chips rest in oven for 5 to 10 minutes. Store in airtight container. One bagel thinly sliced will cover pan for 1 batch.
