ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE
List of Ingredients
2 Tablespoons margarine
2 Tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/4 cup grated cheese
1 teaspoon onion juice
3 eggs -- boiled and chopped
1 No. 2 can asparagus
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup buttered bread crumbs
Recipe
Make white sauce by melting margarine (or butter), adding flour, and whisking in milk. Cook and stir slowly until thickened. Add cheese, onion juice, Wor. sauce, salt, pepper, and eggs to sauce. Drain asparagus and add to mixture. Pour in casserold dish and top with butter bread crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or so until crumbs are browned.
