Cajun Rabbit

1 (3-lb.) rabbit, cut-up
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, mashed
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 sm. ctn. mushrooms, chopped
2 T. green onions, chopped
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. plus 2 T. butter
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 c. water
Salt, black and red pepper to taste
Season rabbit with salt and peppers and dip in flour. Heat 1/2 cup butter in a large pot and brown rabbit. Remove rabbit and add onion, bell pepper and celery. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder. Simmer 5 minutes and then return rabbit on platter with a bed of rice. Saute mushrooms and green onions and pour over rabbit and serve.
