ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH PINEAPPLE SAUCE

- 1 ( 20 OUNCE CAN ) DOLE CRUSHED PINEAPPLE, UNDRAINED
- 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
- 1 TABLESPOON CORNSTARCH
- 1 TABLESPOON ORANGE MARMALADE, PEACH OR APRICOT FRUIT SPREAD
- 1 PREPARED ANGEL FOOD CAKE
Instructions
- IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE PINEAPPLE WITH JUICE, SUGAR, CORNSTARACH AND MARMALADE. BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW, COOK, STIRRING CONSTANTLY 2 MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE THICKENS. COOL SLIGHTLY. (SAUCE CAN BE SERVED WARN OR CHILLED)
- CUT ANGEL FOOD CAKE INTO 12 SLICES. SPOON SAUCE OVER EACH SLICE AND A TABLESPOON OF WHIPPED CREAM.
