    ANGEL FOOD CAKE WITH PINEAPPLE SAUCE


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 ( 20 OUNCE CAN ) DOLE CRUSHED PINEAPPLE, UNDRAINED
    • 2 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
    • 1 TABLESPOON CORNSTARCH
    • 1 TABLESPOON ORANGE MARMALADE, PEACH OR APRICOT FRUIT SPREAD
    • 1 PREPARED ANGEL FOOD CAKE


    Instructions


    1. IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE PINEAPPLE WITH JUICE, SUGAR, CORNSTARACH AND MARMALADE. BRING TO A BOIL. REDUCE HEAT TO LOW, COOK, STIRRING CONSTANTLY 2 MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE THICKENS. COOL SLIGHTLY. (SAUCE CAN BE SERVED WARN OR CHILLED)

    2. CUT ANGEL FOOD CAKE INTO 12 SLICES. SPOON SAUCE OVER EACH SLICE AND A TABLESPOON OF WHIPPED CREAM.
