    APPETIZER MEATBALLS


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 POUND GROUND ROUND
    • 1 EGG
    • 1/2 CUP SOFT BREAD CRUMBS
    • 1/4 CUP MILK
    • 1/3 CUP FINELY CHOPPED ONION
    • 1/2 TEASPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
    • SAUCE:
    • 1/2 CUP KETCHUP
    • 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
    • 1/3 CUP SUGAR
    • 1/3 CUP VINEGAR
    • 1 TABLESPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
    • 1/8 TEASPOON PEPPER


    Instructions


    1. IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE GROUND ROUND, EGG, BREAD CRUMBS, MILK, ONIONS AND WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, MIXING WELL TO COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS. ROLL MEAT INTO 1" BALLS.
    2. IN A SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HEAT, BROWN MEATBALLS,REMOVE FROM SKILLET DRAINING ALL LIQUID FROM MEATBALLS, OR PLACE ON PAPER TOWELS TO ABSORB LIQUID.
    3. PLACE IN A 2 1/2 QUART BAKING DISH. SET ASIDE.
    4. IN ANOTHER BOWL, COMBINE KETCHUP, ONION, SUGAR, VINEGAR, WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE AND PEPPER. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS WELL. POUR OVER MEATBALLS AND BAKE UNCOVERED IN A PREHEATED 350° OVEN FOR APPROXIMATELY 50 TO 60 MINUTES OR UNTIL MEATBALLS ARE DONE.
