    FRIED DILL PICKLES


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 CUP FLOUR
    • 1/4 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1/8 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
    • 1/2 CUP MILK
    • 1 EGG
    • 1 12 CUPS SLICED THIN DILL PICKLES
    • OIL FOR FRYING


    Instructions


    1. COMBINE FLOUR, SALT AND PEPPER IN A BOWL.
    2. LIGHTLY BEAT EGG IN A BOWL. ADD MILK AND MIX WELL.
    3. HEAT ABOUT 2" OF OIL TO 325°.
    4. DIP PICKLE SLICES IN FLOUR MIXTURE, THEN IN THE EGG MIXTURE, THEN AGAIN IN THE FLOUR.
    5. CAREFULLY DROP PICKLES INTO THE OIL A FEW AT A TIME. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, ABOUT 8 MINUTES, TURNING ONCE. REMOVE FROM POT AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS. SERVE WARM
    6. SERVES 4
