    PARMESAN CHEESE BITES


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 CUP FLOUR
    • 2/3 CUPS GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
    • 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND RED PEPPER
    • 1/2 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE, CUT UP
    • 2 TABLESPOONS MILK


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. COMBINE FLOUR, CHEESE, RED PEPPER AND BUTTER IN A FOOD PROCESSOR AND BLEND WELL.
    3. REMOVE FROM BOWL AND SHAPE DOUGH INTO 2 ( 4") LOGS. WRAP IN PLASTIC WRAP AND PLACE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER AND CHILL FOR 8 HOURS.
    4. CUT DOUGH INTO 1/4" THICK SLICES AND PLACE ON A LIGHTLY GREASED BAKING SHEET. BRUSH WITH MILK AND BAKE FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED.
    5. UNBAKED DOUGH, WRAPPED CAN BE FROZEN UP TO 3 WEEKS. THAW DOUGH IN REFRIGERATOR OVERNIGHT.
    6. BAKED CHEESE BITES CAN BE FROZEN UP TO 3 WEEKS. THAW AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR 2 HOURS BEFORE SERVING.
