SOURKRAUT BALLS
List of Ingredients
- 3 OUNCE SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE1 TEASPOON MINCED ONION
- 1 LB SOURKRAUT, RINSED DRAINED AND CHOPPED
- 1 CAN CORN BEEF
- 1/4 CUP BREAD CRUMBS
- 3/4 CUPS BREAD CRUMBS
- 1/2 CUP FLOUR
- 1/2 CUP EVAPORATED MILK
Instructions
- COMBINE TOGETHER THE CREAM CHEESE, ONION, SOURKRAUT, CORNBEEF AND BREAD CRUMBS MIXING WELL, SHAPE INTO BALLS THE SIZE OF A WALNUT, SET ASIDE.
- IN SEPERATE BOWLS PLACE THE BREAD CRUMBS AND FLOUR.
- DIP EACH BALL FIRST INTO FLOUR, THEN IN THE MILK AND THEN IN BREAD CRUMBS.
- FRY IN OIL UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL.
