BREAKAWAY VEGETABLE BREAD
List of Ingredients
- 3 ( 10 OUNCE CANS) REFRIGERATED BUTTERMILK BISCUITS
- 1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER
- 1/2 LB BACON, COOKED AND CRUMBLED AND DRAINED
- 1/2 CUP GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
- 1 SMALL ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
- 1 SMALL GREEN PEPPER, FINELY CHOPPED
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- CUT BISCUITS INTO QUARTERS, DIP EACH PIECE IN MELTED BUTTER AND LAYER ONE THIRD OF THE PIECES IN A LIGHTLY GREASED 10" BUNDT PAN.
- SPRINKLE WITH HALF OF THE BACON, HALF OF THE CHEESE, HALF OF THE ONION AND HALF OF THE PEPPER.
- REPEAT LAYERS UNTIL ALL INGREDIENTS ARE USED, ENDING WITH A LAYER OF BISCUITS ON TOP.
- BAKE FOR 40 TO 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
