BELGIAN SOUR CREAM WAFFLES
List of Ingredients
- 4 EGG WHITES
- 3 EGG YOLKS
- 3/4 CUPS MILK OR BUTTERMILK
- 1/2 CUP MELTED BUTTER
- 1 TABLESPOON VANILLA
- 12 OUNCES SOUR CREAM
- 1 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
- 1 TABLESPOON SUGAR
Instructions
- BEAT EGG YOLKS WITH MILK OR BUTTERMILK, ADD BUTTER, VANILLA AND SOUR CREAM. BEAT WELL THEN ADD FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA AND SUGAR. BEAT THE MIXTURE UNTIL WELL COMBINED.
- BEAT EGG WHITES TO STIFF PEAKS. FOLD TOGETHER WITH BATTER.
- BAKE IN BELGIAN WAFFLE ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS DIRECTIONS.
- SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM, STRAWBERRIES, ICE CREAM, CONFECTIONERS' SUGAR, BUTTER, HONEY, YOGURT OR ANY TOPPING OF YOUR CHOICE.
