CARMEL APPLE BREAKFAST PIE
List of Ingredients
- 12 RHODES CINNAMON ROLLS, THAWED, BUT STILL COLD
- 1 LARGE GRANNY SMITH APPLE, PEELED AND DICED
- 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR
- 1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
- 1/4 CUP GRAHAM CRACKER CRUMBS
- 2 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED PECANS
- 1 PACKET CREAM CHEESE FROSTING WHICH IS INCLUDED WITH THE CINNAMON ROLLS
- 3 TABLESPOONS CARAMEL ICE CREAM TOPPING
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. GREASE A 12" DEEP DISH PIZZA PAN WITH VEGETABLE SPRAY. SET ASIDE.
- CUT EACH ROLL INTO FOUR PIECES AND ARRANGE IN PREPARED PAN. COVER LOOSELY WITH A LIGHTLY SPRAYED PLASTIC WRAP AND LET RISE 2 HOURS IN A WARM PLACE.
- IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE APPLE, BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON, CRUMBS AND PECANS.
- REMOVE WRAP FROM ROLLS AND SPRINKLE APPLE MIXTURE OVER THE RISEN DOUGH.
- BAKE FOR 20 TO 25 MINUTE OR UNTIL WELL BROWNED.
- COMBINE THE PACKET OF CREAM CHEESE FROSTING WITH THE CARAMEL TOPPING BLENDING WELL AND DRIZZLE OVER THE TOP OF APPLE PIE.
