LEMON OR ORANGE PULL - APARTS
List of Ingredients
- 12 RHODES ROLLS THAWED BUT STILL COLD
- 1/4 CUP MELTED BUTTER
- 2 LEMON RINDS OR 1 ORANGE RIND, GRATED
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- CITRUS GLAZE:
- 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
- 2 TABLESPOONS FRESH LEMON OR ORANGE JUICE
- 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
- MIX GRATED RIND WITH SUGAR. SET ASIDE.
- CUT ROLLS IN HALF AND PLACE IN 12" DEEP DISH PIZZA PAN OR A 9 X 13" BAKING PAN THAT HAS BEEN SPRAYED WITH NON STICK COOKING SPRAY.
- POUR 1/4 CUP MELTED BUTTER OVER ROLLS. SPRINKLE WITH RIND/SUGAR MIXTURE, RESERVING 1/2 OF THE MIXTURE TO SPRINKLE ON JUST BEFORE BAKING.
- COVER WITH SPRAYED PLASTIC WRAP. LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLE IN SIZE. REMOVE WRAP.
- SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING RIND/SUGAR MIXTURE.
- BAKE FOR 20 TO 25 MINUTES. REMOVE IMMEDIATELY FROM PAN AND PLACE ON COOLING RACK.
- GLAZE:
- COMBINE 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER, 2 TABLESPOONS FRESH JUICE AND 1 CUP POWDERED SUGAR. MIXING UNTIL THIN.
- DRIZZLE GLAZE OVER PULL APARTS.
