ALOHA DESSERT CAKE

List of Ingredients
- 1 BOX DUNCAN HINES YELLOW CAKE MIX
- 3 PACKAGES OF ( 3.4 OZ EACH ) INSTANT VANILLA PUDDING MIX
- 4 CUPS COLD MILK
- 1 1/2 TEASPOON COCONUT EXTRACT
- 1 ( 20 OZ. ) CAN OF CRUSHED PINEAPPLE, WELL DRAINED
- LARGE COOL WHIP THAWED
- 2 CUPS TOASTED FLAKED COCONUT
- 1 ( 8 OZ.) PACKAGE SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
Instructions
- MIX CAKE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS.
- POUR INTO 2 ( 9 X 13" ) BAKING PANS. BAKE AT 350° FOR 15 MINUTES OR TILL CAKE TESTS DONE. COOL COMPLETELY.
- IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE THE PUDDING MIXES, MILK AND COCONUT EXTRACT. BEAT FOR 2 MINUTES, AND ADD THE CREAM CHEESE AND BEAT TILL COMBINED. STIR IN DRAINED PINEAPPLES.SPREAD OVER THE COOLED CAKES.
- TOP WITH COOL WHIP AND SPRINKLE WITH TOASTED COCONUT, REPEAT THE LAYERS AGAIN.
- CHILL FOR AT LEAST 2 TO 4 HOURS BEFORE SERVING.
- NOTE: CAN BE FROZEN FOR UP TO 1 MONTH

I HAVE MADE THIS DESSERT USING DUNCAN HINES LEMON CAKE, WHICH WAS EQUALLY AS GOOD, BUT WITH MORE FLAVOR.
