LEMONADE CAKE

List of Ingredients
- CAKE:
- 1 PKG. LEMON CAKE MIX
- 1 CUP WATER
- 1/4 CUP OIL
- 1 BOX LEMON INSTANT PUDDING
- 4 EGGS
- GLAZE:
- 2 SCOOPS COUNTRY TIME LEMONADE MIX
- 1/2 CUP WATER
- 2 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER
- 2 CUPS POWDER SUGAR, UNSIFTED
Instructions
- COMBINE ALL THE CAKE INGREDIENTS IN A MIXER BOWL AND BEAT 4 MINUTES ON MEDIUM SPEED TILL COMBINED. POUR INTO GREASED 10" FLUTED PAN. BAKE IN A PREHEATED 350° OVEN FOR 50 TO 55 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL ON WIRE RACK IN PAN FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES. MAKE HOLES IN THE CAKE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. ( USE WOODEN SKEWERS) GRADUALLY SPOON THE LEMON GLAZE. COOL FOR 15 MINUTES. INVERT ONTO SERVING PLATTER.
- GLAZE:
- MIX THE LEMONADE MIX, WATER AND BUTTER IN A BOWL. ADD THE POWDERED SUGAR AND BLEND TILL WELL INCORPORATED AND SMOOTH.
