    List of Ingredients


    • 1 CUP SALAD OIL
    • 3 EGGS
    • 2 CUPS SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    • 2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1 TEASPOON SALT
    • 1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS
    • 4 CUPS PEELED CORED AND SLICED APPLES
    • ICING:
    • 1 1/2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
    • 3 CUPS POWDER SUGAR
    • 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
    • 3 OUONCES SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°.
    2. BEAT OIL AND EGGS UNTIL FROTHY, ADD SUGAR AND VANILLA AND BEAT UNTIL BLENDED.
    3. SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING SODA, CINNAMON AND SALT. BLEND INTO EGG MIXTURE. FOLD IN NUTS AND APPLES.
    4. POUR INTO A GREASED 9 X 13 CAKE PAN. BAKE FOR 1 HOUR OUR UNTIL TESTER COMES OUT CLEAN.
    5. BEAT TOGETHER THE BUTTER, POWDERED SUGAR, VANILLA AND CREAM CHEESE UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY. SPREAD ICING ON CAKE AS IT COMES OUT FROM OVEN.
