    • CRUST:
    • 2 CUPS CHOCOLATE WAFER CRUMBS
    • 5 TABLESPOONS BUTTER, MELTED
    • ******************************************************************************
    • FILLING:
    • 3 ( 8 OUNCE PACKAGES) SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
    • 1 CUP SUGAR
    • 5 EGGS
    • 2 SQUARES ( 1 OUNCE EACH) SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE, MELTED
    • ******************************************************************************
    • FROSTING:
    • 6 SQUARES ( 1 OUNCE EACH) SEMI SWEET CHOCOLATE MELTED
    • 1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM


    Instructions


    1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 300°.
    2. IN A MEDIUM BOWL, MIX THE CRUST INGREDIENTS TOGETHER UNTIL WELL BLENDED. PRESS INTO A 9" SPRINGFORM PAN. SET ASIDE.
    3. IN A LARGE BOWL, BEAT TOGETHER CREAM CHEESE, SUGAR AND EGGS ON MEDIUM SPEED TILL SMOOTH AND FLUFFY. SPOON HALF OF THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE INTO CRUST.
    4. STIR MELTED CHOCOLATE INTO REMAINING CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE TILL WELL BLENDED. DRIZZLE OVER BATTER IN A SWIRLING FASHION.
    5. BAKE FOR 50 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM OVEN AND TRANSFER TO A WIRE RACK. COOL COMPLETELY.
    6. TRANSFER CHEESECAKE TO A SERVING PLATE, COVER WITH PLASTIC WRAP AND CHILL FOR 2 TO 4 HOURS. UNCOVER CHEESECAKE AND CAREFULLY REMOVE THE SIDE OF PAN. SPREAD WITH FROSTING. CHILL BRIEFLY TILL FROSTING IS SET.
    7. IN A SMALL BOWL, MIX TOGETHER MELTED CHOCOLATE AND SOUR CREAM.
