CRUMBED TOPPED CHEESE COFFEECAKE
List of Ingredients
- FILLING:
- 2 ( 8 OUNCE) SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE
- 1 CUP SOUR CREAM
- 7 TABLESPOONS SUGAR
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 1/2 TEASPOON LEMON JUICE

- CRUMB TOPPING:
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2/3 CUP SUGAR
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 3 TEASPOON CONNAMON
- ******************************************************************************
- CAKE BATTER:
- 1/2 CUP BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 2 EGGS
- 1 TEASPOON VANILLA
- 2 CUPS FLOUR
- 2 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1/2 CUP OF 1/2 & 1/2 OR MILK
Instructions
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 350°. GREASE A 9 X 13" BAKING PAN.
- BEAT THE CREAM CHEESE UNTIL CREAMY AND SMOOTH. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND BEAT WELL. SET ASIDE.
- WORK ALL OF THE CRUMB TOPPING INGREDIENTS WITH FINGERS UNTIL NICE AND CRUMBLY. SET ASIDE.
- COMBINE BUTTER, SUGAR, EGGS AND VANILLA, BEATING UNTIL LIGHT AND CREAMY.
- COMBINE FLOUR AND BAKING POWDER AND ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH 1/2 & 1/2 OR MILK.
- SPREAD HALF OF THE BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN. SPREAD CREAM CHEESE FILLING ON TOP OF BATTER. SPOON REMAINING BATTER ON TOP OF FILLING. SPRINKLE WITH CRUMB TOPPING.
- BAKE FOR 55 TO 60 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND PLACE ON WIRE RACK TO COOL BEFORE SERVING.
